For many years, I never quite felt like I belonged in my own skin. Misguided and lost, I made a great deal of poor choices which would haunt me until I made peace with them. From a chaotic childhood to 18 and completely clueless – I was in a search for something real – some thing I could depend on. I found that “some thing” I was yearning for. The birth of my fabulous daughter in 1985, Meredith. This absolute incredible jewel was brought into my life to stretch and shape me into the Mojo Master I am still evolving into today. A neon stream of hope and reason to live a better life was ignited as the adventure began immediately upon my daughter, Meredith’s, arrival. She began as a twin but was delivered alone, as warriors with a series of twists and turns, Meredith and I grew up together combating obstacles impossible to predict, but completely necessary for our mission. Drawing from all of the unconditional love and kindness from my Grandmother Jewel, I began to create myself as the best parent I could be. Raising a medically fragile child as a single mother was the best thing that ever happened to me – she saved my life as I fought for her’s daily.
Our union is a remarkable journey and a true testament to inner strength that ANYONE can tap into. We found the will and the air to breathe forsurviving the straining trials and tribulations of life. Along the way we made up our own guide to conquer life’s injustices, pains and fears. We simply call it “The Mojo Guide.”
